Welcome to Vortex Hub. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vortex Hub Discord server, our website, and any membership you purchase from us (together, the "Services").
By joining our Discord server, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
1.1. By accessing the Server, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction to use Discord, whichever is higher.
1.2. You further confirm that you are legally permitted to enter into this agreement, and that you are not prohibited from receiving or accessing the Services under any applicable law or regulation.
1.3. You must be 18 or over to purchase a Premium membership. If you are under 18 you may use the free areas of the Server, but you must not make a purchase without the consent of a parent or guardian.
1.4. You must not use the Services if we have previously terminated your access.
2. Content, codes and proprietary material
2.1. Your content. You retain ownership of anything you post in the Server. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and share that content as part of operating the Services.
2.2. Our material. All codes, stock access, methods, restock information, systems, listings, guides and other material provided through Vortex Hub — together with our compilation and checking of it — is the property of Vortex Hub and is supplied to members in confidence. You must not redistribute, republish, resell, trade, leak or claim it as your own, whether to non-members, non-subscribers or anyone else unauthorised, and this continues to apply after your membership ends.
2.3. Individual voucher codes and promotions originate from the retailers operating them; our rights subsist in our collection, verification and presentation of them and in the guides and methods we produce. That does not reduce your obligations under clause 2.2.
2.4. Trading. Module trading is permitted only between Premium members and only within Discord direct messages. Free members may not take part, and no money or other consideration may be involved. A breach of this clause is treated as serious and may result in immediate removal under clause 8.
3. Membership, payment and renewal
3.1. Premium is sold as a one-off payment covering one month from the date of purchase.
3.2. Memberships do not automatically renew. No recurring authority is taken against your payment method, and nothing further will be charged unless you make a new purchase.
3.3. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. See our privacy policy.
3.4. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable tax unless stated otherwise. We may change our prices at any time, but a change will never affect a membership you have already paid for.
4. Access and delivery
4.1. Access is granted immediately after successful payment. You will be asked to link your Discord account so that the Premium role can be applied automatically.
4.2. If the role is not applied, open a support ticket in the server and we will apply it manually. If we are unable to deliver access at all, you are entitled to a full refund.
4.3. Your membership is personal to you. You must not share, sell, lend or transfer your account or Premium role.
5. Cancellation and refunds
5.1. All sales are final. Except where these Terms or the law require otherwise, we do not give refunds. In particular, we do not refund:
- an offer expiring, being withdrawn, being refused, or failing to work at the retailer;
- your not qualifying for a promotion, or a retailer declining to honour one;
- your having used the membership less than you expected, or not at all;
- the remaining period where we have ended your membership for a serious or repeated breach of clause 6.
5.2. Your statutory right to cancel. You have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Because access is granted immediately rather than after 14 days, you will be asked at checkout to consent to the service beginning straight away and to acknowledge that a proportionate deduction will be made for the part of the month already supplied. If you then cancel within the 14 days, we refund the balance.
5.3. If we fail to deliver. If you pay and do not receive access — the Premium role is never applied, or the Premium areas are not there — you are entitled to a full refund regardless of how much time has passed.
5.4. How to request. Open a support ticket in the server, or email us using the details on our contact page. Tell us the Discord account you purchased with and the date of purchase. You do not need to give a reason to exercise the right in clause 5.2. Please come to us before raising a chargeback — we would far rather fix it directly and quickly.
5.5. Goodwill. We may choose to refund in circumstances where we are not required to. Doing so once does not oblige us to do so again.
5.6. Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
6. Code of conduct
6.1. You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times while using our server.
6.2. Treat members and staff with respect. Harassment, bullying, discrimination and personal attacks are prohibited.
6.3. Spam, unsolicited advertising, and promoting other servers or services without our prior permission are prohibited, including by direct message to our members.
6.4. You must not discuss, promote or encourage fraudulent or unlawful activity through the Services. This includes abusing retailer refund or returns processes, misusing customer service channels to obtain compensation you are not entitled to, and sharing unauthorised methods of obtaining goods or discounts.
6.5. You must not attempt to disrupt, manipulate, reverse engineer or exploit our bots, modules or any other part of the Services, or submit false or duplicated entries to any feature that awards a benefit.
7. Account security
7.1. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure and for activity carried out under it. If you believe your account has been compromised, tell us as soon as possible so we can help protect your membership.
8. Suspension and termination
8.1. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms.
8.2. Where a breach is serious, or where you repeat a breach after being warned, we may end your membership without refunding the remaining period. For less serious matters we will normally warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
8.3. You may leave the server at any time. Leaving does not by itself entitle you to a refund outside the cancellation rights described in clause 5.
9. Communications
9.1. We will send you service messages relating to your membership, such as confirmation of purchase and information about access. These are necessary to provide the Services and cannot be opted out of while your membership is active.
9.2. We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time. See our privacy policy.
10. Availability
10.1. We aim to keep the Services available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Discord is operated by a third party and outages on their platform are outside our control.
10.2. We may add, change or remove modules, channels and features as the community develops. We will not make a change that removes the substance of what you have paid for during a membership period you have already bought.
11. Our responsibility to you
11.1. We will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill.
11.2. We are not responsible for losses caused by matters outside our reasonable control, nor for the acts or decisions of any retailer, including an offer being withdrawn, expiring, being refused, or an order being cancelled or refunded by them.
11.3. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for your statutory rights as a consumer.
11.4. Subject to clause 11.3, our total liability to you in connection with the Services is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. Changes to these Terms
12.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. Where a change is significant we will give notice in the server before it takes effect.
12.2. The version of these Terms published at the time you make a purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.
13. Governing law and disputes
13.1. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
13.2. If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly through a support ticket or by email.
13.3. If we cannot resolve it between us, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
13.4. Nothing in these Terms requires you to give up your right to go to court, and nothing here prevents you from bringing a claim through the small claims procedure.
